Dear colleagues and friends,

Association of Family Medicine Specialists - Respiratory Group in collaboration with the Center for Family Medicine - Medical Faculty in Skopje and International Primary Care Respiratory Group, organize the first Symposium with international participation on the topic:

“Antibiotics in Primary Care - Challenges for improvement”

It will be held from 1st to 2nd of May 2015 in the city of Ohrid, one of the oldest and most beautiful cities in Macedonia.

We believe that this Symposium will be an excellent opportunity for the presentation of national and international experience in the field of rational prescribing of antibiotics for respiratory infections.

It is planned involvement of doctors from other medical specialties that are closely related to prescription antibiotics.

The symposium will present results from a national study of the prescribing habits of antibiotics for acute respiratory infections among selected doctors, conducted in the month of November 2014 in Republic of Macedonia.

There will be also a commercial exhibition space for pharmaceutical companies, which will be open during the entire Symposium.

Тhe official languages of the Symposium are English and Macedonian.

We wish you a successful Symposium, and warm WELCOME.
